I fly to Bangkok on a regular basis and after trying various European based operators I have to say Thai airways is way ahead of the competition. The level of service and attention to detail in unmatched!

I was slightly disappointed on the outward journey as the seats were very hard and uncomfortable, however, the return journey was back to the usual high standard of service. Excellent in-flight entertainment, good food and service with a smile.

Finally a long haul operator who cares as much about economy class as they do about first and business. All the other carriers I have used on this route cram the economy class to the point of overcrowding, but on Thai Airways there is always a sense of spaciousness and tranquillity. The movies are sometimes a bit out of date, but other than that a first rate service!!

After trying BA, Qantas and Emirates we have to say that Thai Air is definitely our favourite airline for this route. The leg room in economy is great, as is the level of service. It really feels like you are on holiday as soon as you step foot on the plane. The only down side is that some of the connecting flights we have been on have the old style drop down TV screens, but we prefer to read so that isn't a big issue for us, but I guess it would be for some people. Overall a very favourable service.
