I flew Korean Air from London to Sydney (connecting in Seoul) and was surprised to find this airline quite impressive. Their staff were friendly and helpful, the aircraft was clean and my economy seat was spacious, if a little uncomfortable. In-flight entertainment was good but a bit limited, although it kept me entertained for most of the flight.. Upon arrival in Seoul I asked the attentive KAL rep if I could be upgraded on my connecting flight (Seoul - Sydney) and upon boarding the aircraft and producing my ticket I was ushered to the left into business class.
Good flight all around, even if the food was sub-standard. Arrived Sydney 25 minutes earlier than expected. Would definitely recommend as a alternative to the usual operators.
